Stuart Chisnall

Stuart joined BIVDA in Sept 2011. He has spent all his working life in and around the diagnostics industry starting in a defra research laboratory followed by a range of roles with Phadia including technical service, sales and marketing. Before starting with BIVDA Stuart had a brief spell with Menarini Diagnostics. Stuart brings sales and marketing experience with a range of healthcare stakeholders and strong technical knowledge of Immunology.

Rachel Myers


Rachel also joined BIVDA in September 2011; she has a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science but has spent most of her career running small businesses (from seafood to ladies shoes) in one capacity or another. Her last role was as Office manager for a housing research consultancy where she honed her administrative skills over 7 years. Rachel comes to BIVDA with extensive experience and knowledge of SMEs across the commercial, retail and consultancy sectors. She is innovative and supports Doris-Ann and Stuart with broad technical knowledge and an understanding of commercial decision-making.
Public Affairs Officer
Gemma Scotcher

Gemma has a first class BA (Hons) in Politics from the University of Greenwich and an MA in Critical Theory from the University of Sussex. After spending some time in research roles at the House of Commons, Gemma joined Portcullis Public Affairs as a junior consultant. She worked on a variety of healthcare accounts and led a national project for a leading patient group which was eventually presented to the Minister for Health, Anne Milton MP. She then joined BIVDA and has been enjoying working closely with Doris-Ann, devising the public affairs strategy for the British IVD sector.
